This expression places mango firmly at its core, layered with pineapple and kiwi for brightness, and framed by notes of lemon verbena, clove, cinnamon, pepper, and mugwort, creating depth and structure. Bottled at 45% ABV, it’s bold, aromatic, and strikingly unique.
Tasting neat, the glass bursts with tropical vibrancy — an intense wave of mango and pineapple unlike anything usually found in gin. Beneath it, juniper and spice weave a sophisticated backbone. The palate opens with dried mango sweetness, transitions into pineapple and kiwi tartness, and finishes with herbal spice from mugwort and cinnamon. Crafted by SiCX Kyoto Distillery, founded in 2020 near Sanjūsangendō Temple, this small-batch distillery operates within an intimate bar space — a creative hub for innovative spirits. After discovering this gin in Japan, we were instantly captivated by its originality and brought it home to Hong Kong.
