Speaking of the aging warehouse, the place where "Hokkaido" is stored is also very extraordinary... It is a 387-meter-long railway tunnel! This tunnel was originally planned for JR trains to run through, but the project was interrupted and abandoned later. However, Chinese distilleries saw its characteristics of constant temperature and stable humidity throughout the year, and rented it as a whiskey aging warehouse. Quite an oddity indeed!

The first "Hokkaido" to be introduced is its entry-level Premium Blended. The aroma has a strong alcohol sense, which gradually reveals vanilla and a hint of creamy candy scent after acclimatization. The body is far more full and rich than expected, with the taste mainly being the grain sweetness of Single Grain, along with a little smoky and a touch of woodiness. The aftertaste is dominated by sweet woodiness, leaving a clean finish.
