Under the strategic collaboration between Sanramon and Nagahama Distillery to exchange their own original spirits, four whiskies were blended by complementing each other's strengths. Here we introduce the second product. This whisky was blended and bottled by Sanramon, using Sanramon's 50PPM heavy peated malt bourbon barrel original spirit, blended with Nagahama's lightly smoky World Malt original spirit, with an alcohol content of 50%, and a limited quantity of 5,000 bottles.

Pour the wine into the glass, and the aroma immediately overflows. At first, there is a smoky scent and a hint of sea saltiness. Upon deeper sniffing, there are notes of dark chocolate sweetness and bursts of mint, with a good intensity and variation, making it quite appealing to the nose. On the palate, one might expect a peat dominance, but instead, there is a sweet apple flavor, with a touch of sherry cask influence, which is rarely encountered in Sannrangmaru's previous works. It seems to be the taste bestowed by Nagahama's World Blend—interesting! The body is medium and solid, with the mid-palate blending peat with fruity notes, complemented by a faint smokiness in the finish, along with a slightly salty creaminess. The aftertaste is long and very nice!

On the wine label, Sarumaru transforms himself and the Nagahama Distillery into two goldfish, rowing forward while singing loudly, presenting a harmonious scene. Goldfish have a very positive symbolic meaning in Japan and are regarded as mascots that bring wealth, peace, and happiness. From the wine label, it can be seen that Sarumaru attaches great importance to its cooperative relationship with Nagahama and looks forward to more synergy between the two wineries in the future.
