The true extravagance of this single malt lies in its eight-year journey within Mizunara wood. While eight years might sound brief, it represents an immense triumph over nature. Due to the highly porous structure of Mizunara oak, the annual Angel's Share under Japan's climate is a staggering 6% at a conservative estimate. Over eight years, approximately 40% of the precious liquid completely evaporates into thin air. This extreme loss is precisely why aged Mizunara whiskies are virtually nonexistent on the global market, and when they do appear, they command astronomical prices.

Upon opening, the nose introduces dominant woody aromatics, seamlessly followed by the comforting bitterness of Earl Grey tea laced with maple syrup and a hint of gentle smoke.
