YAMAOKA HINTED THAT THIS DISTILLERY IS REFERRED TO AS THE ROLLS-ROYCE OF SINGLE MALTS, IT IS ALMOST CERTAIN THAT THIS IS THE WORK OF THE MAJOR "M" DISTILLERY. BOTTLED AT A HIGH ALCOHOL BY VOLUME OF 51.9%, WITH A LIMITED RUN OF 268 BOTTLES. ACCORDING TO THE OFFICIAL DESCRIPTION, THE AROMA FEATURES PLUM, CITRUS, AND HONEYDEW MELON, WITH A FULL-BODIED ENTRY, A CREAMY AND FANTASTICALLY SMOOTH TEXTURE, RICH MALTINESS, SLIGHTLY SPICY BUT WITH AN EXTREMELY LONG FINISH.

Bessie Williamson was the first female distillery manager in the history of Islay and a special heir to the Laphroaig distillery. Just by this name, it is almost certain that this whisky is a product of Laphroaig. The whisky is bottled at an alcohol strength of 52.8% and is limited to 215 bottles. According to the official description, the aroma is rich peat smoke with a touch of light fruitiness and cinnamon. The flavor features the distillery's hallmark sea salt and peat, with honey and fruity sweetness as a backdrop, very smooth on the palate.
