Crafted from medium-heavy peated malt rated at 50ppm, the spirit was matured for five full years in premium Oloroso Sherry Casks and bottled at a robust 50% ABV. This combination of high-ppm peat and luscious sherry, limited to only 2,870 bottles globally, makes it a highly coveted release for collectors and peat enthusiasts alike.
On the nose, it opens with a bracing, vivid smoke, followed by a coastal, maritime brininess reminiscent of bonito flakes (Katsuobushi), intertwined with fresh citrus peel. The palate introduces a sophisticated smoky profile layered with black tea, offering a comforting harmony of gentle smoke and dark-honey sweetness. Mid-palate, notes of salted dark chocolate emerge, weaving elegantly between rich wood character and dried-fruit sherry sweetness. The journey concludes with a crisp, maritime smoke finish.
