The coffee beans are curated by Osaka’s acclaimed WAKO Coffee, a roastery celebrated for tailoring bespoke roasting profiles to unlock each bean's unique personality. For this masterpiece, they selected a Colombian Pink Bourbon lot, highly prized for its signature floral and elegant character.
The rum base was carefully sourced and imported by the Shiga-based Nagahama Distillery from the Dominican Republic—a Caribbean nation famed for its sugarcane heritage. Naturally rich and sweet, Caribbean rum is the ultimate match for coffee, a synergy celebrated in the timeless regional cocktail, "Café Caribbean."
Upon opening, the nose delivers a bold, concentrated espresso aroma with a touch of bright acidity. The body is pleasantly full-bodied; the palate opens with the fruity sweetness of dark rum, which seamlessly marries into the emerging bitterness and crisp acidity of the specialty coffee, extending into an exceptionally long, structured finish.
