Brewed by Suigei Shuzo in Kochi Prefecture, KAJU blends juices from Yuzu, Konatsu, and Nao-shichi — three distinct local citrus varieties — with Suigei’s own sake as the base.
Fruit juice makes up 39% of the bottle, with an alcohol content of just 9%.

On the nose, it’s bright and zesty — a citrus medley with lively notes reminiscent of fresh lime.
On the palate, rich yuzu sweetness unfolds first, followed by a gentle, refreshing acidity.
Hints of sake umami emerge in the finish, giving depth and complexity that pure fruit juice could never achieve.

Perfectly balanced between sweet and tart, with minimal bitterness or alcohol sharpness, this is a liqueur that drinks like juice — but finishes like fine sake.
