The “Premium” in Premium Ginger comes from the lavish use of fresh ginger, simmered into a rich, mellow juice with none of the harsh spiciness often associated with ginger drinks. This ginger juice forms the core, blended with Namino Oto sake and citrus from Kyushu (sudachi / yuzu), creating two expressions that are full of ginger character yet gentle and comforting.

Namino Oto Brewery also operates a seasonal restaurant called Yokaro, open only during the non-brewing months (June–August). The Premium Ginger Sudachi was originally a “secret drink” served only there, but thanks to overwhelming praise from diners, it was eventually released commercially. Premium Ginger Sudachi: The aroma is citrus peel with soft ginger notes, refreshing with a touch of sweetness. The palate is rich, with citrus sweetness up front, then mellow ginger taking over in the finish. A hint of lime-like acidity cleanses the aftertaste — layered yet easy to drink.

Premium Ginger Yuzu: The aroma is fresh yuzu, gently accompanied by ginger. On the palate, it’s cleaner and lighter than Sudachi. Yuzu and ginger blend harmoniously, moderate in sweetness, straightforward and drinkable — the kind you can toast with again and again.
