There’s plenty of fruit pulp at the bottom, so be sure to shake well before pouring. Served chilled, the aroma reveals green, slightly tart mango and a touch of vanilla. The texture is thick, with deep, rich mango flavor and medium sweetness balanced by mild tartness. The plum character comes through in the mid-to-late palate, followed by a gentle hint of awamori on the finish. It’s satisfyingly rich and sweet—just add ice to make it even smoother.

This liqueur is crafted by Ishikawa Shuzo in Okinawa, a distillery known for both its 600-year awamori tradition and its innovative spirit. They’re constantly experimenting—combining awamori with other liquors or drinks, even creating yogurt drinks and gin. Using awamori as a base often produces new and unexpected textures and flavors, making for a fascinating experience!
