In the regular Roku Gin, two of the botanicals are sakura petals and sakura leaves. However, during tasting, the juniper and yuzu notes tend to dominate, making the sakura character hard to detect. What if sakura became the main theme? What if Roku created an “ultimate floral” gin?

It seems Suntory heard exactly what the market was thinking. By deliberately raising the presence of sakura petals and leaves, they created this limited Sakura Bloom Edition. Seeing countless blossoms and leaves soaked directly in the base spirit is visually stunning on its own—but how does it taste?

On the nose, familiar yuzu and citrus notes appear, accompanied by juniper—clean and refreshing. On the palate, long-awaited floral notes bloom across the tongue, instantly transporting you to sakura season. The texture is gentle and smooth; the mid-palate carries subtle saltiness reminiscent of sakura-mochi, followed by a light yuzu bitterness and a hint of sansho spice, with a long, elegant finish.

Beyond the liquid, the packaging is breathtaking. The signature hexagonal box shows a vermilion bridge, a couple in yukata walking beneath a sky filled with falling blossoms—a moment of Japanese hanami, now in your hands.
